03 Nyaung Shwe - Pindaya - Heho - Mandalay
Scenic journey to PINDAYA (90 km - 2 1/2 hours). Visit PINDAYA
CAVES, unique for the thousands of Buddha images placed
there by pilgrims over many centuries. Transfer to HEHO
airport (65 km - 1 1/2 hours) and domestic flight to MANDALAY.
On arrival, transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight in Mandalay.

04 Mandalay - Amarapura - Mandalay
Excursion to Amarapura, 15 km from Mandalay. Visit MAHAGANDAYON,
a famous Buddhist monastery, where more than a thousand
monks live and study; continue to 200-year-old U BEIN teak
bridge, built in 1782 at the time when Amarapura was the
royal capital. Visit to BAGAYA MONASTERY, with a superb
collection of Buddha statues. Before returning to Mandalay,
stop at a traditional hand-weaving silk workshop en route.Lunch
is followed by a comprehensive sightseeing tour including
MAHAMUNI PAGODA with its spectacular Buddha image covered
with thick layers of gold leaves, SHWE INBIN, one of the
most outstanding monasteries in the country, SHWE NAN DAW
KYAUNG or GOLDEN PALACE MONASTERY, a superb example of a
traditional wooden building and KUTHODAW PAGODA, known as
the world's largest book, consisting of 729 marble slabs
engraved with Buddhist scriptures. A visit is also made
to a jetty to observe daily life at the river and to a craftsmen's
workshop to see Kalaga tapestries being created. Sunset

05 Mandalay - Bagan
After an early breakfast, start for a boat journey on the
AYEYARWADDY RIVER to BAGAN.Boxed lunch is served on board.
On arrival, transfer to hotel and if time permits proceed
for a short orientation tour of Bagan.
Dinner at hotel and overnight in Bagan.

06 Bagan
Nature Dream is offering an amazing experience to see
the ancient city of Bagan as it has never been seen before.
With 'BALLOONS OVER BAGAN' you get a magnificent bird's
eye view of thousand year-old pagodas, temples and the mighty
Ayeyarwaddy River. The campagne flights at sunrise last
just under an hour and take off daily from October through
March. The balloon is guided by gentle winds not exceeding
24 km/h. Eight/Six passengers plus a pilot fit into the
balloon's basket.
Full-day sightseeing tour starting with the busy local market
and continuing with visits to a diverse selection of the
most important pagodas and temples, such as SHWEZIGON PAGODA,
built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century, KU BYAUK
GYI, a temple with exquisite murals of Jataka scenes, KHAY
MIN GA TEMPLE, noted for its spectacular panoramic view
of the area's many monuments and ANANDA TEMPLE, with four
huge standing Buddha images and numerous seated figures
in niches around the galleried interior.After lunch, visit
of a lacquer craftmen's workshop in nearby MYINKABA village.
Continue sightseeing to MANUHA TEMPLE, built in Mon style
in 1059, NANBAYA TEMPLE, a unique sandstone monument, said
to have been the palace of King Manuha and MYINGABA GU BYAUK
GYI TEMPLE, noted for its ancient mural paintings under
the protection of UNESCO. Proceed to BUPAYA PAGODA or MINGALA
ZEDI STUPA to watch sunset over the Ayeyarwaddy River. Dinner
at a riverside restaurant and overnight in Bagan.

07 Bagan - Yangon
Transfer to airport for return flight to YANGON, upon arrival
in Yangon, proceed to the hotel for check-in. The completion
of Yangon sightseeing includes KABA AYE (WORLD PEACE) PAGODA,
MAHAPASANA GUHA CAVE, where the Sixth Buddhist Synod took
place and Yangon's oldest Chinese temple. Dinner and overnight
in Yangon.

08 Yangon - Departure
Transfer to Yangon International Airport for departure.
