In
Myanmar, there are a lot of social event such as Shin Pyu
(Novication) ceremony, Donation ceremony, Wedding ceremony,
Graduation ceremony, Opening ceremony of School / Hospital/
Road, Birthday ceremony, Gathering ceremony, etc..
Here is the some sample of invitation letter for above ceremony
(for wedding and novication), in which usually mention about
persons names, parent names (very important !), place and
time.
In villages, Novication and wedding ceremony are very popular
and no need to invite by letter, just speak each other about
donation and everybody will come to this donation event
even donator forgot to speak. People are not only as a visitors
but also helper. Sometime, people gathered money and supported
to poor donator for their son's novication ceremony. (In
Myanmar, every parents wish to be novice their son before
20 years old.)
